What Happens When You Delete Your Account
When you request account deletion, we permanently remove your data from our systems. We don't keep it. We don't sell it. We delete it.
This policy explains what gets deleted, what we're legally required to keep, and how long the process takes.
What We Delete
When you delete your account, we permanently delete:
- Your profile information (name, email, phone number)
- Business details and verification documents
- Dashboard preferences and settings
- API keys and integration data
- Customer lists and contact information
- Product and subscription configurations
- Analytics and usage data
What We Must Keep
Pakistani law requires us to retain certain financial records for compliance and tax purposes. We must keep:
- Transaction records (payment amounts, dates, status)
- Payout history to your bank account
- Invoices and receipts
- Tax-related documentation
These records are stored securely and kept for 7 years as required by law. After that period, they are permanently deleted.
This financial data is anonymized where possible. Your name and contact details are removed, but transaction records remain for legal compliance.
Deletion Timeline
Account deletion happens in stages:
- Immediate: Your account is deactivated. You can't log in anymore.
- Within 24 hours: Your profile data, customer lists, and API keys are deleted.
- Within 7 days: All dashboard data, settings, and analytics are permanently removed from our systems.
- Within 30 days: Backup copies are purged from our servers.
Transaction records required for legal compliance remain as described above.
Before You Delete
Before deleting your account, make sure to:
- Download any reports or data you need
- Cancel active subscriptions
- Process any pending payouts
- Remove Paiker integration from your website or app
- Export customer lists if needed
Account deletion is permanent. You cannot recover your account or data after deletion.
Pending Transactions
If you have pending transactions or payouts when you delete your account:
- Pending payouts will be processed to your bank account
- Active subscriptions will be canceled
- Refunds will still be processed if requested by customers
We recommend waiting until all transactions are settled before deleting your account.
Third-Party Services
If you connected third-party services to your Paiker account (like webhooks or integrations), you should manually disconnect them before deletion.
We cannot control what data third-party services retain after you delete your Paiker account.
Data We Don't Sell
We don't sell your data. We never have. We never will.
When you delete your account, your data is gone. We don't transfer it to anyone. We don't share it with marketers. We just delete it.
How to Delete Your Account
To delete your account:
- Log in to your Paiker account
- Go to Profile in your dashboard
- Scroll down to "Delete Account"
- Follow the confirmation steps
